I'm Cassandra - the photgrapher, story teller, and the soul behind VK AFTERDARK. What began as a love for capturing authentic, intimate moments has grown into a space where confidence, sensuality and self expression come to life.

My sessions aren't just photoshoots, they're transformative experiences designed to remind you of your power. Whether it's through soft life, bold shadows, or the quiet confidence between poses, I aim to capture the real you - unapologetically.

Philosophy

Boudoir, to me, is not about perfection. It's about truth, the truth of your beauty, strength and vulnerabilty.

Evert session is crafted with intentio, comfort, and connection. I believe the most powerful images are born when you feel seen, safe, and celebrated.

Behind-the-lens

VK AFTERDARK was born during one of the darkest chapters of my life.

After having my children, I battled postpartum psychosis, and in the middle of that storm, I felt like I'd completely lost who I was. Picking up my camera became a way to find myself again - to create, to feel, to remember that there was still beauty, even in the shadows.

What started as a self-expression slowly grew into a space where others could do the same. Through this art, I found healing - and now I get to help others rediscover their own identity, confidence and sensuality through the lens.
